My story
Hi there! Thanks for visiting my website. I hope I’m able to give you a brief glimpse of what it would be like to work with me.
I am originally from Venezuela where I worked in the mental health field in different areas including substance use, trauma, and children. I speak both Spanish and English fluently.
I completed a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology from the Adler University in 2013 and have been working in public settings with a range of mental health issues including substance use, concurrent disorders, trauma, depression and anxiety.
I consider myself an open and easygoing person who is willing to listen and create a space that is free of judgment and conducive to therapy.
I believe it is a privilege to be a Counsellor and be a part of people’s journeys. I am constantly learning from my clients and trying to look for opportunities where I can improve my abilities to continue to serve people as best I can.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family (including my cat and my dog) and friends, painting (though not often), drinking tea, and eating great food.
